The secret to any diet is knowing how to make it enhance your life in an easy way, instead of constantly battling with carvings, and the lament of all the foods you once loved, but cause you pain. Some us just have a sweet tooth, and we enjoy desserts, lucky there are a lot of curious people out in the world, who have found a way of creating fabulous desserts, that are healthy, and will not cause weight gain.

Paloe Desserts, What Are They?

If you have never heard of the paleo diet, or have uncertainty of just what exactly it is lets take a moment for a brief explanation. The idea of eating paleo is a diet made up of mostly meat and vegetables,  no sugar, no processed flour, no wheat or grains. The concept was derived from an examination of  foods humans ate in the days of hunter gatherer societies, that is to say foods that our bodies are naturally made to metabolize. By design, this diet is used to lower inflammation, lose weight, and improve performance.

Paleo desserts are made with little or no sugar, no flour or other harmful ingredients. If you love dieting and desserts, there is a way to have both!

Lets Get To Know Some Ingredients Commonly Used!

  • almond milk
  • advocado
  • bananas, and other fruits
  • cacao powder
  • dark chocolate
  • coconut flour
  • coconut shavings

Ok, Here is the recipe for a delicious Chocolaty Shake, Please Enjoy!


We can easily put together some of the ingredients above into a nice dessert or treat. Feel free to add other ingredients and put your own spin on the recipe, here is everything you need:

  • blender
  • 1/2 cup vanilla almond milk
  • 1/2 of an advocato
  • 2 TBS of cacao powder
  • 1 TBS of honey( this can be omitted of changed for other sweeter such as Stevie)

Just put it all in blender and spin until rich and velvety!

Bonus: after a workout add some of your favorite protein powder and build some muscle.
